Native English & Czech translators wanted
Peaks and periods of high demand make it necessary to pass on jobs to fellow translators who will provide the confidence that all deadlines will be met, no standards will be forsaken and no client will be lost. If you meet all of the following criteria:
- you are a native speaker of your target language (English or Czech)
- you live in the country where your target language is spoken
- you have 3+ years of experience
and wish to expand your clientele, please contact me, stating the following:
- years of experience
- areas of expertise
- professional training and education
- average rate per source word in EUR or USD
- average capacity in source words per day
- CAT tools you use
- instant messenger and/or Skype aliases
Applicants who demonstrate their skills by completing a sample translation will be given preferred consideration. 3 short text samples (60 - 70 words) are available for download [ZIPped RTF, 14 KB].
Please note that unlike some agencies, I will not attempt to make you work for disgraceful rates, pay you after months or not at all and laugh up my sleeve spending your money. You will always see the entire source text before quoting and you will always get paid within 30 days. I am not looking for desperately low rates (and quality) – I need help from proficient linguists with self-esteem.
