The main benefit of purchasing from a freelance translator like myself is cost reduction. When you place an order with a large translation agency, a fair share of your money will be used to cover the cost of infrastructure, marketing and logistics. Obviously, my overhead is much smaller – I sell my work directly “off-farm.”

I own and use state-of-the-art hardware and software. I have flat rate broadband Internet access, and I am familiar with all relevant software packages (Microsoft®, Adobe®, Trados®, OCR software, …). I specialize in website localization, in as much as I have the means and know-how to edit static HTML and text graphics while maintaining design consistency. With respect to confidentiality, please rest assured that I strictly adhere to the ethics of my profession: I will never disclose sensitive information. Furthermore, I strive to maintain very high quality standards, which means that I am committed to deliver timely and accurate translations which are terminologically flawless, cross-cultural, idiomatically appropriate, and tailored to specified target groups.

For the sake of quality and reputation, I will turn down requests for projects which are either technically beyond my scope (I am not an expert in nuclear physics, molecular biology, or the penal code of Albania), or which have been unwisely scheduled (no-one will translate twenty pages by yesterday).
